Wonderful! Sizing caveat... Jan 26, 2011
By M. Renner Love this product- only thing you need to be aware of is that the large, at its smallest, is the same as the medium at its biggest; so if you're deciding between the two, go medium. I ordered both, thinking I'd need the various sizes as I 'downsized' myself, but it's really redundant to have both. I would imagine the same would go for XL and Large. Kudos to LLL for making a binder that has quite a variety of sizing options in ONE binder! I think the velcro area is 9" wide, so that provides for a lot of movement in shape postpartum. Very soft material, very comfortable, looks very well made.

It did what I was looking for Nov 08, 2012

First off, I did not get this for shapewear. I read an article how it was important to bind your abs to help bring the muscles back together after having a baby. With this being my 4th, I decided I should do it. My abs and lower back were killing me and this gave me great support and helped my stomach go down so much faster than with my previous babies. I liked that this was long, from right under my chest through the hips. I wouldn't wear it out, because it does add bulk, but I would wear it around the house and when I slept. As my stomach got smaller and you pull it tighter it is annoying as another reviewer also pointed out that the velcro is longer and hangs over, so it might rub against the skin if you are wearing low cut underwear. I looked into so many others, but I didn't want one that covered the crotch area, which is sensitive after giving birth and it's already difficult enough getting to the bathroom in time. Plus, I didn't want to spend $100 or more. This did the job and was great for the price too. If you want something to wear out of the house, I would probably get the postpartum support that Motherhood Maternity sells in addition to this. Because this one is so long it bunches around the waste and you have to readjust it. I got a size small, but I didn't get this until 2 weeks after I delivered. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 4 and I'm 5'6" tall, and I was a size Small to Medium, maternity size 6 during the pregnancy. Hopefully that helps you figure out what size you would need.

good enough and useful! Aug 24, 2011
By HB like others have posted, I didn't use it everyday, it helped me a little to shrink my belly after the first month to a certain point until it was just loose on me but I still had a belly. Now my baby is 4 months and I'm back to my pre-preg body just from nursing and going for walks. I was satisfied with the purchase and i DON'T believe that a more expensive kind would have done the trick.

Way too big Oct 16, 2012
By Lori I read a few reviews saying that it runs big so I measured (pregnant 38 weeks) for the large. I ordered a medium and it's still too big! It would be great if it actually fit though.

Pretty good post c-section Jun 16, 2011
By RuntNmom I started wearing this when I got home from the hospital after my c-section. It definitely helped. The design seems to work well with minimal rolling and is made well.
